Summary/Abstract: The report studies the family surroundings, school years and the first steps of Simeon Radev in the Macedono-Adrianople liberative movement. After his graduation of the Constantinople Lycee, Radev continiues his education in Geneva (1898-1902), where he paricipates in the publications of several newspapers. Since 1903 he is engaged in journalistic activity in Bulgaria.
