Any form of domestic violence leaves its mark on minority's personality formationand generates dysfunctions in the behavioral, cognitive and emotional sphere.The study found that in the modern family up to 30% of children suffer from physicalviolence and up to 45% by psychological violence. Sexual violence, unlike other formsof violence, is more difficult to discover. It has more dramatic consequences and requiresa longer time for psychological recovery. The group of persons with disabilities represents a group at immediate risk of socialexclusion. Different researchers offer us analyses of the phenomenon of exclusion of differentgroups of population, but we can find very few studies regarding the measurementof social distance towards the groups at risk of exclusion. We set the goal to measure theIndices of Social Distance (ISD) towards the following groups: family that cares the childwith disabilities; adult person with disabilities and the child with disabilities.The measurement was performed using the instrument – Bogardus Scale. Accordingto this technique, we have: if the distance is bigger, than the social group islesser accepted.The minimum ISD counted for our researched groups: the family caring child/children with disabilities; adult persons with disabilities and children/adolescentswith disabilities, confirms the fact that the social distance expressed by people towardsthese groups is minimal respectively the groups are accepted.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationsbetween professionaldemands and psychosocial factors related to the professional activity, environmentand professional culture, as well as conditions and factors of human wellbeing andhealth, among doctors, teachers and social workers, in a sample of 288 Moldovanprofessionals. The short version of Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ)were used for data collection [6,p.2].This questionnaire was used to establishthe professional psychosocial factors that evaluate working conditions, health andwell-being in the workplaces of these three professional sphere. As hypothesized, thePearson correlations revealed that emotional demands, demands for responsibilityat work, influence at work, degree of freedom at work, meaning of work, commitmentto the workplace, wellbeing and health were positive predictors of psychologicalfactors related to the professional activity in Moldova.

This article reveals the problem of loneliness at the workplace, especially in IT workers in relationship with communication skills and sociability. The study highlighted that IT workers are predisposed to loneliness, and that there is a relationship between loneliness, its components and communication abilities. The study has made it possible to point out that IT collaborators who are not aff ected by loneliness have the desire and the ability to establish contacts, relationships, friends, and the opportunity to support them, while those who feel loneliness in diff erent types of relationships manifest sociability reduced, being distant, reserved, and the form of loneliness experimented by young people in the IT workers under all its manifestations depends on the adopted style of communication.

The anchoring of the prototypicality and categoryality criteria in the study of the social representations implies the achievement of a congruence between the frequency of occurrence and the average rank of occurrence of the elements that make up these representations (as an exception, according to the researcher’s predilections, instead of the average rank of the occurrence of a term, the average rank of the relevance of the same term may be used in the association). The previously mentioned congruence can be obtained either traditionally - by calculating the Spearman’s correlation coefficient - or in a less usual way - through the tabular technique of an investigative procedure consisting of five distinct phases - data collection, the calculation of frequency and average rank indicators, table making, table reading, the creation of categories.

This article focuses on approaching the relevance of thepsychological group in the context of „GROUP MOVIE THERAPY” intervention. Based on the analysis of field modern literature, have been spelled out according certain principles which explain the cultivated abilities, the developed values and the formed behaviors by the psychological group. In consequence, this proves that this particular setting is a suitable environment for solving a number of difficulties and also an effective way to organize the interaction and communication with another one. Besides, in the theoretical debates on the topic of „GROUP MOVIE THERAPY” objective it is stated that the general aims and objectives are set up according to the theme of the sessions, the present group members and the film being viewed. With the help of successful monitoring, the psychological group promotes certain behavioral principles in each meeting, which are later transferred into the social context, helping participants to effectively organize their lives.

The article explores women autobiographies as a special category of life-writing. The first part is about traditions of women autobiographies. This section aims to understand how women authors construct an authentic identity in life writings. The second part is about explanation of motives in literature and sociology and about the motives in women autobiographies as combination of ontological (sociology, life) and epistemological (literature, presentation of life) aspects. In this paper, women autobiographies are classified in accordance with Jungian hero motives. The paper concentrates on the second type of autobiographies which are common among women authors and coincide with Jungian archetypes of hero in initiation.

The paper discusses the connection between parenting style and the scope of the conflict between parental and business roles. For a parenting style, we used the concept of Dianne Baumrind (1966/2002), who defined three basic types of a parent-child relationship: authoritarian, authoritative and permissive. The problem of conflict is accessed through the theory of work-family conflict, the Greenhaus and Beutell model (Greenhaus and Beutell, 1985), according to which the impact of work on a family consists of three sub-dimensions: time-based conflict, strain-based conflict, and behaviour-based conflict. The survey involved 204 respondents – employed parents with at least one child aged 3 to 16 years. The results of the research have shown that the authoritarian and the permissive parenting style is accompanied by a more obvious conflict of parental and business roles, while the positive effect of employment is linked to the authoritative parenting style. Implications of the obtained findings show that business and family responsibilities enable parents to participate in multiple roles, that can be used to promote their growth and development and better functioning in the parental role.

This research approach is based on the belief that addressing the challenges faced by parents who have children with disabilities in their care requires a thorough understanding of the attitudes that govern the daily behavior of people around them. Parents, who have a child with disabilities, certainly live a multidimensional challenge that life has given them without the right to reproach. Moreover, regardless of the circumstances in which emotional suffering occurs, parents have to cope with the most difficult situations imagined. Social exclusion is not just a result of the circumstances of the moment, but also an impact on the future perspectives of the affected person. The phenomenon of social exclusion of parents who have children with disabilities in their care is a necessary social phenomenon to prevent, because at the moment it can not be avoided. In most cases, parents blame themselves a great deal for their child’s suffering. The self-emotional references, the need for difficult choices, and the attitude of society disarm parents against the unknown, they using all their efforts and resources to overcome such situations. The article is dedicated to the comparative analysis of jealousy tackled in artistic literature, particularly in Eugene Onegin written by A. S. Pushkin. In the research we were guided by the recommendations of K. Leonhard and Ganushkin’s work - that in the artistic literature, there are wonderful abundant descriptions that reflect the human psychology that must be used in psychological science. Both the characters in „Eugene Onegin” by A. S. Pushkin and those we have consulted were subjected to psychological analysis by us, as it is proceded in clinics where patients are analyzed. During the psychological study of the characters of the novel „Eugene Onegin”, we have clarified in detail many nuances in the field of relations between men and women, especially the causes of jealousy.

In comparison with other areas of lives of intellectually gifted, their career development is relatively rarely discussed and researched. In this overview study specific problems that gifted students face when choosing their careers (such as multipotentiality, early career maturity, high expectations of others, perfectionism), and selected differences in career decision-making process between intellectually gifted students and their peers will be discussed. The importance of career counselling for gifted is underlined and some of the recommendations for counselling the gifted client are stated. Career achievements of gifted adults were explored by American longitudinal studies. Similarly, a career satisfaction of gifted adults was investigated by foreign authors. How successful and satisfied in their careers are graduates of our educational programmes for intellectually gifted is yet to be elucidated.

The presented article is focused on concept of career competencies. The aim of the research was to find a relationships between career competencies and career success. Career competencies was meaasured by the Career Competencies Indicator (CCI). Four indicators of subjective and objective career success were examined, namely, career satisfaction, perceived employability, salary and number of promotions. The sample consisted of 206 employed people with an average age of 29.45. Correlation Coefficients and Multiple Hierarchical Linear Regression was used to statistical data analysis. The results showed a significant positive relationship between career competencies and career satisfaction, perceived employability, and the number of promotions. The results of research support the importance of career competencies for successful career development.

Drawing on ethnographic data collected over a five-year period, this study addresses the complex topic of what constitutes meaningful lives. This research examines restaurant employees’ accounts of meaningfulness in and outside their workplaces. The meaning they ascribe to their jobs and activities external to work reveals five categories of meaningfulness: Helping, Mentoring, Expanding, Belonging, and Supplementation. Regardless of popular opinion, which marks restaurant work as meaningless, the data show how and why restaurant employees construct meaningfulness from the intrinsic and extrinsic rewards of their jobs. Additionally, this investigation sheds light on how social constructions of meaning have the potential to contribute to and diminish one’s sense of meaningfulness. This study provides a more comprehensive and inclusionary perspective of the related concepts of meaning, meaningfulness, and meaningful work. Specifically, meaningfulness exists in quotidian and extraordinary experiences, and the workers engage in, understand, and appreciate both.
