The journal was and still is an open door to the best specialists as well as to the most promising young researchers in the field of art history. The editorial staff is supported by current and former members of the Art History Department at the Faculty of History and Philosophy, in Babes-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca. The magazine is meant to support the development of a subject eliminated in the years of communist dictatorship, but which is absolutely necessary for strengthening the analysis and synthesis of national treasures of artistic Romanian and international contributions; we are convinced that the heritage will return to the forefront of national attention and European (not only) years to come.
