Summary/Abstract: The article examines some of the new requirements for insurers when carrying out distribution of insurance-based investment products under Directive (EU) 2016/97 on insurance distribution as well as the forthcoming changes in the Insurance Code. The legal consequences for failure to comply with the obligations are also subject of the analysis.
