Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the categorial semantics of the evidentiality in Bulgarian offering a context analysis of the non-firsthand evidentials (inferential, reported and dubitative). The most typical contexts of the three evidentials are explored to evaluate the level of knowledge of the speaker and the level of reliability of the information which motivate the usage of the respective evidential.
